Medical College of Wisconsin Honors Aaron Rodgers with Doctorate of Humanities

Two-time NFL MVP, Milwaukee Bucks Owner, and Super Bowl XLV Champion Aaron Rodgers has another accolade to add to his illustrious career; A doctorate of humanities degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW).

Rodgers was given the honorary degree as a result of his commitment to improving health for children facing cancer, and his heavy involvement with the MACC Fund (Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer).

“It is with great pride that we welcome Aaron to the MCW community. Honorary degree recipients exemplify the MCW commitment to the highest standards of education, scholarship, innovation or community engagement,” said Dr. John R. Raymond, Sr., president and chief operating officer of MCW in a statement on Thursday.

Rodgers has helped raise $2.8 million to cancer research and continues to personally donate to the fund. To add, there is an evident connection between the Packers and the Medical College of Wisconsin. The Green Bay Packers Foundation has granted almost $350,000 in support for scholarships and curriculum development.

The Medical College of Wisconsin recently opened a Green Bay campus, and the first graduating class of 15 students received their diplomas at Lambeau Field this week.

...and it's important that they have deep pockets.

Yep. As someone who worked nine years to get a doctorate, honorary degrees bother me a bit. I don't know if it's envy or just the idea of them.

Bingo! It galls the hell out of me! Can you think of an equivalent anywhere else in the professional world?

I've been a staunch supporter of the Packers for many years. I'm expecting them to anoint me starting FS for 2018 as a reward.

No way. I'd want to be a long snapper, or better yet, a holder. You're in on 8 plays a game max, you never get blown up. And you make 400k minimum. :P

What does a Medical School, particularly MCW, know about humanities? Humans lead to billings, which generate profits, I suppose.

How do you sterilize a football?

A band-aid or a tourniquet?

I was envisioning what happens when you put an inflated football in an autoclave...

He diagnoses defenses very well too. Opposing teams will have their heart cut out by our QB.

You know what they say about the doctoral process. You learn more and more about less and less until you finally know everything about nothing.

I congratulate Dr. Auron on his doctorate, he’s a great fellow, I also want to get a prize in literature, I wrote a lot of cool essays, you can read them on this site https://studydriver.com/role-model-essay/ , one of them is about “Role Models” in different books, their types and how important is it.

This is a cool and famous university where I once studied and the only thing that was difficult for me is the workload. Writing a dissertation was especially difficult, which is why, in order to simplify it a bit at https://papersbattle.com/best-dissertation-writing-services/, I read a review of the best dissertation writing services and chose the best one for myself. It was a great help that I recommend to everyone. Reviews are really very useful.
