Packers Calendar: Davon House Goes Through Tests

The Packers cornerback will be listed on the team's injury report when it's released on Friday.

The Green Bay Packers release their final injury report of the week on Friday, and cornerback Davon House is one player whose status is still up in the air.

House suffered a shoulder injury in the Packers' recent game against the Atlanta Falcons and has yet to practice this week.

"Davon House is going to have some tests (Friday) and maybe Saturday," said head coach Mike McCarthy. "They haven't given the itinerary for that, so we're still gathering information on his injury."

Although McCarthy is leaving open the possibility that House will be able to play, his comments indicate that the defensive back potentially suffered a rather serious injury.

"I think you've got to look at the film," said McCarthy. "I think if you've watched the tape and see the position his body was in, I think you understand the injury. Hopefully it's not as bad as they maybe initially thought, and that's why you're gathering more information. It was a helluva play by him, and also Julio was injured on the same play. Both those guys were in an awkward position. I think it's clearly why you have to take a close look at those things."

House will be listed as either out, doubtful, questionable or probable when the team releases its gameday projections on Friday.

Other players whose status is in question is running back Eddie Lacy, who has only practiced on a limited basis this week, and linebacker Jamari Lattimore, who has yet to practice with an ankle injury.

McCarthy will have a few opportunties to comment further on his players and other topics regarding the Packers.

First the head coach of the Packers will have his weekly interview on 101.1 FM WIXX in Green Bay at 7:50 a.m. CT and streamed online at WIXX.com.

He'll follow that up with press conference to be streamed live on Packers.com at 11:45 a.m.

Finally, wide receiver Jordy Nelson will make his weekly apearance on 620 AM WTMJ in Milwaukee and streamed at 620WTMJ.com at 3:20 pm. to preview the upcoming game against the Buffalo Bills.
