Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jordy Nelson will host his namesake Charity Softball Game on Sunday at Fox Cities Stadium in Grand Chute, Wis.

It will be the first year Nelson is taking over the annual event for Donald Driver before him and Brett Favre before Driver.

Many current Packers players will take part in the charity game that pits the offense versus the defense.

Among the big names taking part for the offense are Eddie Lacy, Randall Cobb, Josh Sitton and Jared Abbrederis. They'll take on players such as Tramon Williams, B.J. Raji, Datone Jones and Mike Daniels on the defensive side of the football. A full roster can be found at the website of the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers.

The game starts at 1:00 p.m., but a variety of events take place ahead of time. The parking lot opens at 9:00 a.m. with gates opening at 10:00 a.m. A three-inning sponsor game starts at 11:00 a.m. and the always-fun home run derby among Packers players begins at 12:00 p.m.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Young Life.

As of Sunday morning, a limited number of grass-seating tickets remained for sale and can be purchased online.

With a near capacity crowd of nearly 10,000 expected for the game, police are advising travelers to arrive early and expect delays.

On Sunday evening, Packers coach Mike McCarthy will host his annual Celebrity Dinner the night ahead of his Mike & Jessica McCarthy Golf Invitational to benefit the American Family Children's Hospital in Madison.

Taking place at the Monona Terrace from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., the evening includes a program emceed by Larry McCarren along with dinner, live and silent auctions and a raffle. The deadline has passed to purchase tickets for the event.

Finally, a pair of former Packers—wide receiver Antonio Freeman and cornerback Tyrone Williams—will take part in a public autograph session at Waukesha Sportscards on Sunday.

Taking place from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m., signatures cost $29 each or $49 for the pair.
