Packers Sign Cobb; Sherrod Deal Close
The Packers have agreed to terms with their second round pick and are close to doing so with their first. Their entire draft class should be under contract for the first practice of camp.

Green Bay Packers get second-round rookie WR Randall Cobb $3.2 million deal and includes $834,000 bonus, according to a league source.
Also, Rob Demovsky of the Green Bay Press Gazette:
Contract for Derek Sherrod almost done, source said. Numbers are finished. Holdup is how many years the #Packersare going to guarantee.
Look for the Packers' entire rookie draft class to be on the field tomorrow night for the first practice of training camp.

It is nice seeing the rookies all get into camp on time. Good job everyone and good job on changing that in the CBA. I love me some NFL

Rookie Wage Scale is BY FAR, BY FAR the most positive thing for the fans out of this new CBA. No more rookies holding out.

Please Packers line coaches, don’t over think this o-line situation. Leave Bulaga where he is and plug Lang into the LG spot. Honestly, I wouldn’t even be upset if you put Sherrod in the LG spot to get him ready for next year but do not switch everyone on the o-line around this time!

Seconded. The talk of flopping Bulaga to the left and/or Sherrod to the right drives me nuts. Let them settle into their spots and continuity will rule.

With you except for Sherrod. I love me some Lang, it's his time, and his place is LG. I have big hopes for Derrek, but I say let him sit back and soak it all in from Clifton, and hopefully starting next year he will be Bulaga's book-end from there on out. But yeah, K.I.S.S.
