"Man, I'm not taking a paycut. I've been one of your best players. Minnesota will pay me more than that."

"OK".

So how much is he really getting paid this season? Dead cap of how much from GB? Is that all paid already and gives him 0 more cash? The $7MM is not all guaranteed but includes bonuses, right? How much guaranteed?

Promise your players great things, under-deliver, and then give them the treatment (Favre, Za'Darius, Rodgers, Jones, numerous others, especially on the offensive line?) and you get the stings they may give you.

The "treatment"? Give me a break! The Packers made the correct call on every guy you listed. You should've had Jordy in there, too, and move, as much as it hurt, was correct..

So let me see if I get this straight.

Aaron Jones excelled in how many games in 2023?

Aaron Jones played hurt in how many games in 2023?

Aaron Jones did not play in how many games in 2023?

Aaron Jones played in how many games with a limited amount of reps in 2023?

Aaron Jones is loved by many as a player, including me.

Aaron Jones, I hate to see him go...especially to the Vi-queens!

Question is, "Will Minnesota try to run Aaron as a bell-cow running back
or try to take care of him with limited reps like the Packers did?

There is a strong chance Aaron Jones will be hurt & not even play in the Packers // Vikings games.

Aaron is soon to be 30 years old.

Everyone will miss him. Tough call Gute but, "the right one!"

It was only a short while ago when the Packers played their last game of the season. Arguably it was one of Aaron Jone's finest games. What does he get in return? A kick in the ass via a ridiculously low ball offer. The Packer brass have strange ways of showing their appreciation. Other players will take note. I have lost all respect for Gute and the rest of Packer mgm. For pennies more the Packers could have had BOTH RBs giving them the best tandem of RBs in the league. I thought the plan was to replace Dillon? Remember when Gute said they "absolutely" wanted Aaron Jones back? Lies!

Understand football and the business of the NFL and the light might come on.

Sad to see Aaron Jones go. Both the player and citizen side of him are top notch. Would have been nice to see him play it out here but this is the cold unfeeling side of the business.

But, if you're going to bring emotion into the equation. Well then, going to the Vikings might help you get over it quicker.

I mean, I'll still like the guy and wish him well in life. But, the Vikings....
