The "bad" snap was just what we needed. Myers thought the DE jumped and snapped it just like he is supposed to. The timing on that needs to be split second between C and QB. Glad it happened in preseason so they can get it worked out.

The OL needs to give JL more protection. With the Patriots coverage the receivers need more time to get open.

Last year was worse, no containment not as much pressure. Last year our DBs stopped a lot of passes abruptly after being caught, but allowed lots of completions. I've seen lots of PBUs and also NE attempts flat missed due to both pressure and coverage, but they are currently winning.

Indeed! We had many young players who did, including Walker at LT, a 7th round pick last year.

I think Mt Caleb and Telfort are the intended backups to Nijman backing up Bakh. Somehow I doubt this is about having Walker backup Bakh; instead they're giving him a look as a depth piece.

If I had to guess, that's what I'd guess. I won't pretend to know what MLF is up to though. I'd like to see Tom at C and Nijman at RT. When Bakh doesn't play Nijman can switch to LT, he's been working hard on that. Switching RT is less significant, but Tom could still move to RT and have Myers back at C when Bakh is out.
