Stock the Box for Hunger Campaign Kicks Off At Lambeau Field

Associated Bank’s Stock the BoxTM for Hunger campaign to benefit Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin kicked off recently with a food collection and pep rally at Lambeau Field in partnership with the Green Bay Area Public School District and the Green Bay Packers.

Green Bay East, West, Preble and Southwest high school bands were challenged to a friendly competition to collect the largest food collection pile. Over 5,000 pounds of food was collected by the four schools, equating to over 4,200 meals.

Preble High School had the largest food collection pile and received the $2,000 grant to their music program. The three remaining schools each received a $1,000 grant.

Associated Bank’s Stock the BoxTM for Hunger campaign will take place in branches and corporate offices in Wisconsin, Illinois and Minnesota through the end of the year. At the end of the campaign, food donations will be paired to Feeding America member food banks in each of the communities. Only nonperishable, non-glass food items will be accepted.

This is Associated Bank’s first-ever food collection to take place across all three states.
