This is not all I care about for the team or this draft, but I do believe it has to be priority #1, and Gutey needs 3 picks who all need to be good. It'll be interesting to see what MLF does with Mt Caleb, Telfort and Tenuta. If Gutey prioritizes LT does it mean they don't like any of them? Does that mean Gutey should stop drafting LTs over 6'4"?

I'd like to see a rookie legitimately compete for C, another for RG, and another for depth, draft and develop. This assumes that Walker, Telfort Tenuta and Mt Caleb are all at least viable, which is what I'm hoping for.

We start 5
We dress 9
We have 2-3 more on PS.

The Packers return most of the starting line that we finished the season with. Assuming there's no shuffling...and that's a big assumption..... that would be the old guy,Jenkins and Tom , who are two plus players. Myers has started every game since he showed up, except for his rookie injury, and is in his last year. Walker grew tremendously last year at LT, and former Day 2 pick Rhyan is going to try to replace the $30M "weak link" from last year, Runyan.

That's our starting OL. Royce Newman is our #6, Caleb Jones is our #7 , which means they'll be starting as soon as guys get injured. If we could draft two guys that were better players than them, for example Barton and Van Pran, it really improves the depth and ability of this line for the next four years.

The idea that we can't draft Powers-Johnson in the 2024 draft because the Packers have never drafted an offensive lineman over 321 lbs might be the dumbest argument ever. This is 2024, not 1994. Players get bigger all the time. Don't we have 2 backup OTs who are over 350 lbs?

Powers-Johnson plays 2 positions we are short at, and he plays them really well. He is considered the best center prospect in this draft, and GB could easily move on from Myers this year. If he is the best center, it would suck to make another Creed Humphrey mistake.

The question is what is the biggest need, interior OL or drafting an OT who could start or be the swing OT. If possible, that should be our first pick. Over LB, S, or CB.

It would be shocking if Powers-Johnson isn't on the first page of the draft board. It would also be extremely surprising if he was still available when the Packers number is up.

That might not be true anymore. He didn't run or do the agility tests at the combine or his pro day. That's a flag for a guy that isn't hurt. Power teams will still have a lot of interest in him high but zone teams like the Packers have to be wondering. Easy to see him sliding a bit.

running at the combine, doing agility etc is really only entertainment for fans. he has seasons of tape from a really effective running game and pretty slick passing game to show professional personnel people. dude pancakes people. he gets to the second level with speed.

if he's there at 25 it will be a miracle.

There are a lot of fish in the sea, so to speak. I've had numerous draft crushes picked by the Vikings over the years, and yet, the Vikings have empty trophy cases and ugly uniforms.

I trust our front office over all others.

I think we are going to be surprised by who is still on the board when we pick @ #25. IF we make a pick @ #25, we could have multiple players we like right there. Depending on which QBs are taken before our pick could either shove more good players down to us or make someone anxious to trade up for someone and "make us an offer we can't refuse." To quote Vito Corleone.

I have seen a bunch of mocks where Brian Thomas-WR-LSU falls to #25. Do you think KC wouldn't be on the phone to move up? We don't need a WR but they do. This draft is going to be really fun because our picks line up with our needs, at least for the first 5 picks.

If we can draft a LB we like by #88, I can see a trade back from #91 for 2 more 4ths or a 4th & 5th. Especially if the RBs are falling.

How do they not include King Sua, Cooper Beebe, Brandon Coleman, and Zac Zinter in this analysis? All 4 of these players have been linked and mocked to the Packers. Zinter has been in for a 30 visit.

I love any player analysis and how players fit with the Packers, but these 2 guys are boring. And so wishy washy. They are not Top 10 in the draft anylists catagory.

I don't want the packers to draft a OL rd 1.
I don't believe the hype.

We've missed a lot of OTs over the years.
Derrick Sherod OT
Jason Spriggs
And one of the biggest bust in Mandrich.

And with this current OL.
The patch has held up.
So are we looking for depth or replacement.
It seems most are confusing that
with Best player available.
I prefer competition with this GM.
Take the bargain in rd.2-3.
He might just turn into another Bahk .
