Every once in awhile I like to give a somewhat informal CHTV endorsement of particular Packers blogs around the ol' blogosphere. Over the last three years, we've given our seal of approval to, among others, The Packers Lounge, PackerGeeks, Ol' Bag of Donuts, Jersey Al's Packers Blog, and of course the originator, our good friend Railbird Central.
Today, we need to correct a grave injustice and unthinkable oversight:
Ladies and gentlemen, if you have not already, be sure to bookmark and add to your RSS feeds one PackerRanter.com home of The Original Packer Ranter. You may recognize Robert Greenfield and Franklin Hillside from the comments section here at CHTV. Indeed, they can be spotted hanging around all the good Packer blogs.

I was recently asked to answer some questions for their venerable "Meet Your Neighbor" series where they interview various Packer bloggers to get to know a little bit more about them. Of course, this being The Ranter, this is no straightforward set of questions.Thanks to the guys for asking me, because after reading answers from Alex and Brian, I was starting to get a little jealous.

Hey Aaron, Fess up regarding the 80`s metal bands question. You used to hang out with all the other "grits" who hung out on College Ave during the 80`s.

LOL - oh my God this is one of the greatest comments ever. In all seriousness, one of my best friends in Junior High was a "grit" (LOVE that term) People always found it odd that we were friends because I was off playing D&D while he was smoking cigarettes and cruising College Avenue. We shared a love of Led Zeppelin though. Just brilliant.

Cruisin' the ave... LOL. "See, you pack some friends in a car and drive up College Avenue a mile or so to Richmond, circle back down to Drew and come back up again. Sometimes you even pick up a chick from Oshkosh along the way who rides with you until she gets bored and then hops out for something cooler. It's awesome."

Those were some great answers, Aaron. I laughed out loud a couple times. I have never visited Packer Ranter, but I definitely intend to from now on. That "youth photo" of Greenfield has the most sinister hairdo I've seen in 20 years.
