Their new OC and offense will be under a lot of pressure to produce something early given their TD drought...I think we'll see them open up the depths of the playbook to try to catch the Packers off-guard.

In their last 15 regular season games, they are 10-5, one of the best records in the league during that time, but let's fire everyone. You really are an idiot, but a consistent one.

Prevent defense on 3rd and long. So tired of that D call. So tired of those that support it. Pressure after the fact is too late and ill conceived. Brooks saved your ass.

Lombardi turned over in his grave when La Fleur wrongfully left 3 points on the field after a failed 4th down.

Baled out by Brooks, piss poor most of the game then stole it. At least Dick Turpin had the decency to wear a mask.

I could only listen; it made the blocked field goal even more exciting! After a bye week this did not sound like an improved team except for Love and Watson's two connections. Whew, on to next week. GPG!

As I said a few days ago - that this is a trap game and it was. As I said a few days ago - the jury is still out on Lafleur being this offensive genius - he showed today why that jury is still out. I said the other day that sometimes you win by being lucky and we did today - and at least it wasnt because of a bad call as happened when the Lions won last week. And as I said the other day - you are what your record says you are - And we are 7-3 and that is way better than 6-4.

WOW...Matt LaFleur needs to buy Karl Brooks a REALLY good bottle of whatever that man drinks, LaFleur did just about everything he could to lose this game.

A remarkable win. I've seem many Bears-Packers games and this one is memorable.
To all the folks who are somehow angry now because the Packers didn't win on style points: that only applies in figure skating. A win in the NFL is a win.
I was going to go off on MLF for yet another idiotic bow to the world of next gen stats. For almost 100 years NFL coaches realized it's better to get three points than zero. The Next Gen geeks have convinced(conned) the NFL into thinking they have something. WRONG! If the Packers kick the field goal near the end of the game, instead of going for it on 4th down, it would have forced the Bears to score a touchdown to win, a much more difficult task. Nope, gotta play hero and try to score a TD on 4th down. If not for a miraculous last play on the blocked kick, the Packers would have lost.
Next Gen stats and those who worship them can take a long walk off a short plank as far as I'm concerned.

They absolutely deserved to lose. That doesn’t matter now. , They move to 7-3. LaFleur needs to work on a lot of things. This Defense was terrible. The offense was messy. Need to play a whole lot better to be a serious contender.

The Pack didn't deserve to win. Their defense looks porous, especially at the line of scrimmage, and the offense looks horribly out of synch. They do not look like a good football team.

November 17, 2024 at 03:41 pm
Why, why, why do they continue to "go for it" when they don't have to? I'm talking about the dumb decisions on 3rd downs and the 2 pt. conversions. The Packers gave up 4 points by foregoing a field goal and PAT. The score would have been 24-19 had they done the more reliable thing. Chicaglo would have had to win with a TD instead of just a field goal. I just never get why they prefer to pass on the reliable points only to sweat it out at the end. Ughhh!!

why? Because MLF is a "new age metrics" coach...fancy stuff, it'll lead to his eventual downfall..

November 17, 2024 at 04:21 pm
Because the Bears had the momentum.
But your right about it becoming his
eventual downfall.
This team still isn't right on Defense.
He will trust Love.
Just as he did with Rodgers.
