Give Dom a seat between Zimmer and Kubiak so they can link arms and make a giant sucking sound when they head down the drain.

I've always wished that after Capers was fired, fans would march around Lambeau with his toupee on a stick!

I think someone caught his toupee in a weasel trap up near Bemidji.

"senior defensive assistant", given the title I don't think he will have a major role. Probably more of a consultant type.

Maybe if Capers was given more than 2 decent defensive players a season on the Packers we would have another Lombardi, he always had a few decent players with a bunch of undrafted nobodies , maybe just maybe the problems on defense were more personnel rather than Capers.

When you have an UDFA lining up on Julio Jones you have a problem with the talent not the coordinator. In 2010 Capers did a great job with the defense. Switching from a 4-3 to a 3-4. Turnovers, pressure, and bend don't break. Packer fans are caddy.

On a serious note, Dom Capers defense was aways good when it came to playoff time. I joke about ducktape and glue, but those Packer defense in the McCarthy-Capers era played so smart and well, when there so were many injuries of core players does not get mentioned enough. (That said, I did have a small evil smile over Aaron last little line in his post...... :-)

I mean besides that Cardinals game, that Giants game, that 49ers game and that Falcons game and well all know which ones I'm referring to. On a serious note though we did see what his scheme could do with actual talent not UDFA found on the floor or first round picks playing out of position.

Now all they need is Dick Lebeau to finish off this trifecta of old defensive minds then they will be truly unstoppable.

Maybe Capers will bring Moss along with him to ensure that the Viqueens have given up on playing defense. Thanks, Since '61

Moss actually has a coaching job in the XFL. Apparently, he did learn something while in GB...he fired his DC after the first game!

No better individual to turn that Viking secondary into a sieve.
Amazing how these old geezers just get recycled and bounce around the NFL/NCAA. Football is not that complex of a sport, amazing that teams keep going back to the "well of wisdom" to find coaches who are 10 years past their prime, if not more.
