Show Note: Clearly meant to say condemn, not condone, my apologies for the confusion although I think it's easy to tell my intent despite the erroneous word choice.

You said "condone" several times when I believe you meant 'condemn."

Yes, I'm sure what Andy meant to say is he does NOT condone domestic violence in any way shape or form, as that would be consistent with the rest of what he said. Other than this faux pas, I think he covered this as fairly and as reasonably as possible; not a joyous occasion ...

WOW! What a terrible way to begin Training Camp. These are really serious charges and GB needs to take decisive action soon. Waiting will only turn more people and fans against them. Yes Jacobs is innocent until proven guilty, but the damage is already done and GB can't keep this cloud hanging over the organization for long.

The victim deserves just as much respect as the football star in this case. Even when not dealing with a famous or rich person, so many victims don't even come forward because of the ridicule or intimidation they will endure. Jacobs reputation is tarnished forever already, whether guilty or not. The victim will be a loser regardless of the outcome as well. The Packers organization will also suffer especially if they don't handle this properly. They need to look at Jacobs as an employee more than as a star player.

Jacobs has damaged the Packers organization badly and needs to be suspended immediately at the very least. I don't see how they can even allow him to workout with the team, let alone practice with the team or play games until the court date. How would that circus play out at home and on the road? The percentage of a release is very high right now. Can you imagen the grief the Packers players will endure from other fan bases when we are on the road? That will lead to incidents for sure so releasing Jacobs needs to be handled soon. The Packers need to at the very least protect the roster by finding RB insurance. The season will be here before we know it and the "business" part of this has to go forward.

Doing their due diligence the Green Bay Packers probably already have their own independent private investigator(s) on this case. Probably the NFL as well.

The Packers organization will proceed carefully based on what their investigation reveals, in addition to the legal process, and not what anyone on this forum or any other forum surmises or thinks should be done and it will be in the time frame they decide.
