I don’t think he had gotten one snap on defense last year other than snaps on special teams.

Count me as one who really believes Ty Summers can make a very positive impact on this Packers D, if they give him the chance. He'll probably remain on STs and will provide sound depth as a backup ILB. Honestly, I think he could start. I think he's better than people know at ILB.
Summers is a phenomenal athlete, and the only player outside of Gary to have ELITE ratings in both SPARQ and RAS from last year's draft class.

He’s a 24 year old who has worked and trained for many years and dreamed of playing in the NFL. The door doesn’t get any more open than this. All he has to do is seize the opportunity.

I am hoping that Ty makes the second year jump and gets on the field on defense. Amazing interview guys!!! I really like Ty as a player and I am really pulling for him this year. Keep up the good work and GO PACK GO!!!!!!

I agree with everyone's comments. Have very high hope for TY. Great athlete, speed, and try hard player. Hope we have a diamond in the rough!
