I would second 2 of the 3, Josh Jacobs came to play yesterday think running the ball the O line was almost real good. Pass protection eh.

There is a ton of money being spent on getting after the QB there were so many clips of Micah flying around even after the ball had been thrown, those clips showed many times Rashan Gary in neutral I remember him making one play. Van Ness came in and did pretty much nothing after Micah got hurt.

how many times does the ball come right to you on defense the dbacks just didn't make any plays.

good: Josh Jacobs
Bad Rashan Gary and the no hands dbacks
ugly: the injuries

Nix ate our Secondary, alive, and especially so, in the 2nd half. 5 chances for INTs, all blown. Any INT could have changed the game for the Packers.

Yep—Walton/Penner—and former cabinet member Condoleezza Rice—richest owners in the NFL. It’s only coincidence the officiating was terrible and favored the Broncos.

Yeah, the refs made Engebare hit the punter. And Bullard slam the guy down, and Rasheed false start fifty times.

And the Refs gave our Secondary - "The Hands of Stone". I wonder what those buffoons think when they watch the game tape especially when they see how many times they had opportunities to completely change the game, and didn't. Also how open the Denver receivers were most of the night. Jerry Tagge would've looked like a Pro Bowler !

Don't forget the two interceptions that the refs made love throw.

What i didn't like is that Love got hit 15 times, are you kidding me?

I know why that happened, the refs gave the front seven of Denver's defense a 'pep talk' about getting Love out of the game.

I know the refs did some of their voodoo shit on Micah's knee also.

This stuff isn't hard to figure out people.....lol
***********
Show me someone who blames the refs, and i'll show you a gambler who lost money on the game.

Come on man. There was a bad call that went the Packers way and we scored a touchdown. Stop with the bad calls. You sound like a Vikings fan.

Oh we do not have to worry about not calling holding calls on Parsons.

You’re right cheeze—the richest owners ever and their minority owner/former Secretary of State have zero influence. I doubt Goodell even knows who they are… . I think the league is much more concerned about the infrequent holding calls vs Parsons.

Y’all—It’s extremely comforting for me to know we have a politician/owner running a team. Go Condoleezza—
Let’s have politicians officiate too.

GOOD : Josh Jacobs, McManus
BAD : D Backs, Q & R Walker , Rashan Gary (lifetime member of BAD list)
UGLY : the injuries, and realization that 2025 wasn’t our year either

But in the seven years of LeFluer / Gutekunst, it actually gets a little easier to take every year. I look forward to some major roster turn over and Ed Policy decisions on HC & GM

NFL Research: The Broncos are 7-1 all-time in home games against the Packers, which is Green Bay’s second-worst road record versus any active franchise (0-7 at Bills).

But a typical Sean Payton team go for knees on QBs.

They started the crap before the game and Bullard bs penalty cost us.

Anyway

Wicks needs to get more targets. If you need extra linemen in to block vs tight end so be it.

Nice to have Heath back to block. Oh well.

Golden Wicks. Need to step up

How we tied with the cowboys and lost to Carolina , Cleveland and even Eagles beyond me.

And actually this game

Need some plays to move the chains and keep the ball.

Need more now out of running game and tight ends.

And defense line not get bodies turned on contact

The Good
1. Moving the ball up and down the field during the 1st half and controlling the game.
2. Josh Jacobs - for being on a pitch count, he was outstanding

The Bad
1. All the penalties. Some were stupid ones, but other ones were questionable
2. Matt LaFleur going for the kill shot on the 1st drive of the 2nd half was completely unnecessary. There was absolutely no need to force that. The Packers were IN CONTROL in the 1st half. Don't try to manufacture something when it's not there. Throwing it up against the #1 CB in the game (Patrick Surtain) was not smart.
3. Cornerbacks - did not have a good day at all. Mostly got roasted all day and didn't have much of an answer. Dropped at least two would-be INTs.

The Ugly
Of course, the injuries to Zach Tom, Watson and Parsons. Everybody's dropping like flies at the worst possible time.

Actually the second drive. Pack had scored, Denver went 3 and out, so it was a pretty good time to try it. Great player made a great play.

MLF can't help it, it's in his makeup to go for the long bomb when it's not necessary....just move the chains coach, they'll still call you a genius I promise...

People are so football ignorant. Do you believe that the coach dictates every throw a QB makes? Watson was one of 6 routes at the snap of the ball, LOVE CHOSE to throw it deep. That being said im all for it, we have made a living off of big plays. So not MLF's call and not a bad decision by Love.

MLF did not dictate the throw, but he called the play.

Love could have audibled out of it, but he did not.

Depends on how you view things. If you like taking lots of risks, then be prepared for the highs and lows. I prefer to go back to the well and keep doing what was working in the 1st half until it doesn't work anymore.

Why fix it if it ain't broke?

Good: Josh Jacobs The guy is a warrior and wants to be out there every week even when not 100%. Wish we had more players with his heart.

Bad: That it appears that our RB1 has better hands than our DBs (What happened to McKinney this year?). What goes on in practice that our DBs are dropping easy picks?

Ugly: Obvious is the injuries. Also all the talk going in that this wasn't a must-win. If you don't win any of those non must-wins then you may find yourself out of the playoffs. Always feels like jinx talk.

The injuries are devastating, but that's football. The unforced errors, however, are about focus and discipline, and that's about coaching. The Packers have been shooting themselves in the foot -- especially on offense -- for pretty much the entire La Fleur tenure. It's a chronic problem that suggests there is a pretty serious leadership issue at the top. Is there another team with as many procedure penalties? Another team with so much trouble getting a play called and run before there is :01 on the play clock?

To beat the best teams, you have to play your best football for 60 minutes. The Packers don't do that and, as a result,
they are a "good" team year in and year out, but never quite make it to "great". That's UGLY.

Here goes:
Good/Great--- Josh Jacobs. The 40 yard TD run a thing of beauty. Great catch, too.
Honarble mention: McManus, who's become automatic again.
Bad --- Pass rush. Virtually non-existant in this game. No sacks. No hits. Nothing you could even call a pressure. Look, this Nix kid is the real deal (MVP of this game) but he had ALL DAY to throw. Now, with Parsons gone, don't know how we'll get to Williams. In Hafley we Trust.
The Ugly --- 2nd Love pick. Took away ALL momentum from TD and 3-and-out. Worst possible timing for that underthrow.
Whatever, gotta find way to take this MASH unit to Chi-town & beat da Bears.
GPG!

The good: not all of our players were carted off the field by the hard hitting denver bronkos
The Bad: Parsons injury, Toms injury and another Watson injury - this guy cant take nfl punishment
The Ugly - and for the umteenty time in the past 7 years, its the horrid secondary play. When wasnt a Denver receiver not wide open with a packer yards away?????? and people thought this team was SB bound? really. Bears and Vikes will embarrass this team.

Yes the Packers secondary specifically the corners chase they do not cover . Horrible and until that is fixed along with the OL musical chairs this team will be watching the Super Bowl on TV .

Good: you could just put Jacobs here damn near every week, always comes to play. I'm going to give Golden a mention because the kid can play. Don't tell me they can't work him into the offense more. Maybe people should just get off his ass and give him the chance he deserves.

Bad: Yes, they didn't need the deep shot, but Love has to make a better decision. After Love had the big run to move the chains, on 2nd and 10 the next series, they run the ball into a under-manned line and get stuffed. Let the guy throw on that down.

Ugly: I think the rest of the "pass rush" is/was just fine with letting Parsons do the majority of the damage. None of the them do much of anything to get around their man. Just straight ahead. Well now they're going to have to. Nixon and Valentine wouldn't be starting CB's for any other teams in the NFL.

Truth: Packers were a playoff team, not a Super Bowl caliber team. Now they better win two out of the next three if they want to to have a shot at even being a playoff team.

Agree about the Dline.

Agree without a whisper of a doubt that our starting CB's would NOT start for any other team. But Gute knew that and its one of the reasons he brings in Parsons. Now that Parsons is out its free for all time on our defensive backfield and its going to get ugly.

Disagree with your final analysis. Looking at the parity in the NFL I thought the Packers had a good shot this year of making the final dance. They had star power on offense and on defense, something SB teams always have in common. Now that star power is gone off defense and our offensive star power has a bum knee.

Good: Jacobs , McManus and Criminally underutilized Golden.

Bad: Secondary coverage not in the zip code of most throws. When they were see (below).

Ugly: Injuries and DB's inability to come up with any of the 4 easy should be INT's gifted to GB.... re-gifted to allow NIX to look way better than he should have. Any of the INT's would have swung the game back in GB favor.....Imagine what all 4 could have done for GB....totally different game and outcome.....UNBELIEVABLE...REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY - UGLY.
