I played 5 sports in HS--but quit football after Freshman year to avoid head injuries--and then studied Biology, Chemistry and Anatomy in college and made my life work of fixing the bodies of athletes (including taking care of my aging athlete's body).
I was rescued by the universe in 1970 when my family moved to WI before I was branded with the teams of Chicago where I was born (I was already playing baseball at that age and liked the Cubs, but I had not yet started playing other sports).
It's all been WI ever since!! (except for my love of Michael Jordan)
