The Cincinnati Bengals announced that safety Chinedum Ndukwe has been placed on injured reserve.

Ndukwe injured his knee during Sunday's loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

A seventh-round pick (253rd overall) out of Notre Dame in 2007, Ndukwe has started 31 of 53 games over the last four seasons, totaling 257 tackles, 8 quarterback sacks, and six interceptions.

Ndukwe is the 15th Bengal to be placed on IR this season.
