Bengals Sign S Jeromy Miles Off Practice Squad

The Cincinnati Bengals have signed safety Jeromy Miles off their practice squad, Adam Caplan of FOXSports.com reports.

An undrafted free agent from UMASS, the 6-2, 210-pound safety had five tackles for the Bengals during the pre-season and has spent the entire season on the team's practice squad.

Caplan adds that Miles may dress for Thursday night's game against the New York Jets, as strong safety Roy Williams is unlikely to play due to a concussion he sustained during the Bengals' 49-31 loss to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.

Cincinnati has 10 defensive backs on its 53-man roster, but cornerbacks Jonathan Wade and Fred Bennett were signed just this week and there likely isn't enough time to get them up to speed to play tomorrow night.
