In addition to signing rookie free agent kicker Aaron Pettrey, the Cincinnati Bengals announced the signing of veteran offensive tackle Kirk Chambers.

After beginning his NFL career as a sixth-round pick out of Stanford by the Cleveland Browns in 2004, Chambers (6-7, 315) started 14 games over the last three seasons for the Buffalo Bills.

Chambers was released by the Bills at the end of 2010 training camp.

Second-year offensive tackle Andrew Gardner was signed to fill out the Bengals' practice squad.
