The San Diego Chargers announced that wide receiver Vincent Jackson has been added to the active roster.

Kicker Kris Brown has been waived.

Jackson (6-5, 241) has been on the Chargers' "exempt" list after signing his one-year restricted free agent tender on October 26. Jackson is expected to be active for Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts.

Coming off a Pro Bowl season, Jackson has 198 receptions for 3,400 yards and 25 touchdowns since being chosen by the Chargers in the second-round (61st overall) of the 2005 NFL Draft out of Colorado State.
