The San Diego Chargers have signed tight end/fullback Dennis Morris and safety C.J. Wallace to "Reserve/Future" contracts, a league source said on Tuesday.

Morris (6-1, 253) played tight end and fullback during his career at Louisiana Tech, catching 70 passes for 1,144 yards and 16 touchdowns. Selected in the sixth-round last April by the St. Louis Rams, Morris was traded to the Washington Redskins in exchange for fifth-round defensive end Hall Davis in a deal that caught the eye of the NFL Players Association.

Morris was waived by the Redskins and spent the 2010 regular season as a street agent.

Wallace (6-0, 218) entered the NFL with the Seattle Seahawks, who signed the University of Washington product as an undrafted free agent in 2007. In 26 games for the Seahawks between 2007-09, Wallace recorded 19 special teams tackles, including a team-high 14 during the 2008 season.

Wallace played for the Las Vegas Locos in 2010.
