Kansas City Chiefs restricted free agent safety Jarrad Page has signed his one-year tender, Jason La Canfora of the NFL Network reports.

A seventh-round (228th overall) pick out of UCLA, Page (6-0, 225) has started 39 of his 53 career games, totaling 198 tackles, 1 quarterback sack, and 10 interceptions during his career, with four forced fumbles.

Page, who played last season under a one-year restricted free agent tender, missed the final 11 games of the '09 season after he was placed on injured reserve with a calf injury.

Page has requested to be traded throughout this off-season, with his agent (and brother) going on a Kansas City radio station to claim that the team was "being vindictive" in their treatment of Page.
