Indianapolis Colts cornerback Jerraud Powers broke a bone in his right forearm on Sunday, Mike Chappell of the Indianapolis Star reports.

How much time Powers will miss is undetermined, but with four games left in the regular season, it's possible that the 6-6 Colts will need to make the playoffs without one of the secondary's top performers.

A third-round pick (92nd overall) out of Auburn in 2009, Powers has started all 22 of his games in the NFL, totaling 119 tackles and intercepting three passes. Powers leads the Colts with nine passes defensed this season.

As Chappell notes, Kelvin Hayden, the Colts' other starting cornerback, left Sunday's 38-35 overtime loss to the Dallas Cowboys with a neck injury.
