Colts Place WR Austin Collie on IR

According to Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay, the team is placing second-year wide receiver Austin Collie on injured reserve.

Collie suffered his third concussion of the 2010 season in the second quarter of Sunday's win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

A 2009 fourth-round pick out of BYU in 2009, Collie emerged as a reliable target for Peyton Manning, catching 60 passes for 676 yards and 7 touchdowns as a rookie. Collie was limited to nine games this season, catching 58 passes for 649 yards and a career-high 8 touchdowns.

Irsay added that veteran safety Ken Hamlin has been signed to replace Collie on the 53-man roster.
