Cowboys Not Interested in O.J. Atogwe

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones says the team is not interested in free agent safety O.J. Atogwe, Todd Archer of the Dallas Morning News reports.

"I'm ready to go into our season with the safeties we have," Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones said on Wednesday.

Alan Ball and Gerald Sensabaugh are penciled in as the starting safeties in the Cowboys' secondary, though 2009 fifth-round pick Michael Hamlin could push for Ball's free safety spot. 2010 fourth-round pick Akwasi Ansah-Owusu and veteran Patrick Watkins are also in the mix.

In a cost-cutting move, the Cowboys released Ken Hamlin earlier this off-season.
