Dolphins Add Geathers, Rose to Practice Squad

The Miami Dolphins have re-signed rookie defensive ends Clifton Geathers and Rob Rose to their practice squad, a league source said.

Geathers was a sixth-round pick out of South Carolina by the Cleveland Browns, while Rose spent the off-season and training camp with the Seattle Seahawks after going undrafted out of Ohio State.

Both were claimed by the Dolphins off waivers on September 5, both were inactive for Miami's Week 1 win over the Buffalo Bills, and both were waived at some point last week. Now they've been re-signed to fill the spots on the eight-man squad that opened up after the Dolphins signed defensive lineman Ryan Baker and tight end Jeron Mastrud to the 53-man roster.
