Dumervil Expected for Start of Broncos OTAs

Denver Broncos All-Pro outside linebacker Elvis Dumervil is expected to show up for the start of the team's "Organized Team Activity" sessions, Lindsay Jones of the Denver Post reports.

The Broncos have 13 OTA sessions scheduled between May 17 and June 9, which will be followed up by a mandatory three-day mini-camp from June 11-13.

Jones adds that it's unclear whether or not Dumervil will participate in the voluntary workouts.

Dumervil earned Pro Bowl honors for the first time after last season, posting 49 tackles and an NFL-high 17 quarterback sacks. In 61 career games, including 45 starts, Dumervil has 129 tackles, 43 sacks, 10 forced fumbles, and an interception. Dumervil has also been credited with 61 hits on opposing quarterbacks.

A restricted free agent, Dumervil was tendered at the "First- and Third-Round" level, which will pay the former fourth-round pick a $3.168 million dollar base salary in 2010, provided Dumervil signs the tender before June 15.

Dumervil is the only Broncos' restricted free agent who has yet to sign his tender.
