Former NFL defensive lineman Chijioke Nwokorie plead guilty to felony confinement and misdemeanor battery charges in Indianapolis on Friday, TheIndyChannel.com reports.
The charges resulted from separate incidents in 2008 and 2009, including one where Nwokorie was accused of inappropriately touching a woman he knew after they left a bar.
Nwokorie, 36, was ordered to undergo human sexuality counseling and perform 200 hours of community service.
An undrafted free agent out of Purdue, Nwokorie spent four seasons with the Indianapolis Colts (1999-2002) before finishing his NFL career with the Green Bay Packers. Nwokorie's top season was in 2001, when he started 5 of 16 games, and totaled 42 tackles and 5 quarterback sacks. Nwokorie had 2.5 sacks in his one season with the Packers to finish his career with a total of 7.5.
Nwokorie spent teams in the Arena Football League, but has not played football professional since 2007.
