Jaguars Announce Todd Bouman Signing

The Jacksonville Jaguars announced the signing of quarterback Todd Bouman.

Terms were not disclosed, and quarterback Luke McCown was placed on injured reserve with a torn ACL to make room for Bouman on the 53-man roster.

Bouman (6-2, 238) played his college ball at St. Cloud State, and entered the NFL with the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted free agent in 1997. In 43 career games, including six starts, Bouman has completed 129-of-230 pass attempts for 1,683 yards and 11 touchdowns and interceptions.

The 38-year old last started in 2005 with the New Orleans Saints, and last appeared in an NFL game in 2007 with the St. Louis Rams.

Bouman went to training camp with the Jaguars in 2008 and 2009, where he completed 54.8% of his 113 pass attempts for 760 yards, with four touchdowns and a pair of interceptions.
