Jaguars LT Eugene Monroe Ruled Out

Jacksonville Jaguars left tackle Eugene Monroe failed his baseline concussion test on Friday morning, Tania Ganguli of the Florida Times-Union reports.

Monroe has what the team has termed as a "mild" concussion, which has kept him out of this week's workouts in advance of Sunday's road game against the New York Giants.

The Jaguars have officially ruled Monroe out for Sunday, meaning that either Kevin Haslam, an undrafted rookie from Rutgers, or former New York Giant Guy Whimper would get the start at left tackle.
