Undrafted free agent wide receiver Derrick Townsel has signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Townsel's agent, Harold Bicknell, announced on Twitter.

Townsel (5-9, 175) caught 153 passes for 1,712 yards and 5 touchdowns during his four-year career at Murray State, where he also returned kicks and punts. Townsel had tryouts with the Houston Texans and Washington Redskins during the off-season, but this will be his first NFL contract.

The Jaguars will need to make an additional roster move to add Townsel to the 80-man roster.
