Jets DBs Do Revis Rain Dance

It apparently landed on the cutting room floor at NFL Films, but prior to their Green & White scrimmage on Saturday, the New York Jets defensive backs performed a form of a rain dance to inspire divine intervention in the contract stalemate between the Jets front office and All-Pro cornerback Darrelle Revis, Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News.

"We just have to keep his memory alive while he's not here," safety Jim Leonhard said. "The DBs always dance before games. We wanted to let him know that we're still thinking about him and he's still one of us."

According to Mehta, the players are squarely behind Revis.

"Everybody wanted to be involved," Leonhard said. "We love him. We just got to let him know we're thinking about him every once and while, so we paid a little homage to No. 24."
