The New York Jets have re-signed wide receiver David Clowney, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.

Wide receiver Danny Woodhead has been waived.

Woodhead, who was featured in the season finale of "Hard Knocks", had one special teams tackle during the Jets' 10-9 loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Monday night.

Clowney (6-0, 188) has caught 15 passes for 217 yards with one touchdown in 15 games for the Jets between 2008-09, but was released by the Jets on September 5.
