Adam Caplan of FOXSports.com reports the New York Jets have signed second-round offensive lineman Vladimir Ducasse.

According to Caplan, the four-year deal is worth $3.25 million dollars, and included a signing bonus of over $1 million dollars.

Chosen with the 61st overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, Ducasse is the highest draft choice to sign a contract.

A three-year starter at left tackle at the University of Massachusetts, the 6-4, 332-pound Haiti native developed into a dominant blocker at the FCS level, earning first-team All-Colonial Athletic Association honors after the 2008 and 2009 seasons.

Due to his size, strength, athleticism, and potential, many notable draft experts had Ducasse being selected in the first-round of the 2010 NFL Draft. Ducasse slid to the later stages of the second round, and projected to start immediately at left guard, replacing perennial Pro Bowler Alan Faneca on the Jets’ offensive line.

With Ducasse signed, the Jets’ lone unsigned draft pick is first-round cornerback Kyle Wilson.
