Mike Klis of the Denver Post reports Denver Broncos running back Knowshon Moreno will miss three weeks after injuring his hamstring during Sunday's practice.

Moreno underwent an MRI, which did not reveal a tear.

Correll Buckhalter, Moreno's top back-up, suffered an upper back injury which Klis reports will keep him out of action for a week.

The Broncos dodged a significant bullet on Sunday in that both will be back for the regular season. After trading J.J. Arrington to the Philadelphia Eagles on Saturday night, it will be interesting to see if the Broncos stay with Kolby Smith and a trio of street and college free agents, or add an experienced veteran like Brian Westbrook to the roster.
