Lions Sellout Thanksgiving Day Game

The Detroit Lions have avoided a Thanksgiving Day blackout, Tom Kowalski of MLive.com reports.

Kowalski adds that this is the earliest the Lions have sold out the Thanksgiving Day game since 2007.

The Lions host the New England Patriots at 12:30pm ET, with Kid Rock scheduled to perform at halftime.

So I'll be thankful that halftime of the early game is when my family usually sits down for dinner.
