New England Patriots 34, Buffalo Bills 3

Yesterday's win clinched the AFC East and #1-seed in the AFC Playoffs for the Patriots...The Patriots' running game got the job done on Sunday, piling up 217 yards.

Seven turnovers contributed to the Bills' loss, and was one example of the gap between them and the Patriots...Bills first-round running back C.J. Spiller has had a rough rookie season.

Chicago Bears 38, New York Jets 34

Three touchdowns in the momentum-swinging third quarter gave the Bears a lead they could hold onto...Bears wide receiver Devin Hester's impact on this game goes beyond the stat sheet, writes Dan Pompei of the Chicago Tribune.

Even though they lost, the Jets clinched a playoff spot on Sunday...The Jets will need to clean up their issues on defense if they're to make a Super Bowl run.

Baltimore Ravens 20, Cleveland Browns 10

By beating the Browns, the Ravens clinched a playoff berth and remain in the hunt for the AFC North title...Ravens safety Ed Reed terrorized Browns quarterback Colt McCoy.

The Browns' three-game losing streak is increasing the heat of head coach Eric Mangini's seat...Even with Sunday's loss, rookie quarterback Colt McCoy is the right fit for the Browns, writes Bud Shaw of the Cleveland Plain-Dealer.

Washington Redskins 20, Jacksonville Jaguars 17

Redskins kicker Graham Gano's 31-yard field goal in overtime ended the team's four-game losing streak and hurt the Jaguars' playoff chances...Anonymous members of the Redskins defense came up with big performances on Sunday.

An ill-advised overtime throw by quarterback David Garrard proved costly for the Jaguars...With a win next week, and a Colts' loss, the Jaguars would win the AFC South.

Kansas City Chiefs 34, Tennessee Titans 14

The Chiefs clinched the AFC West for the first time since 2003...Chiefs first-round safety Eric Berry put the game out of reach late in the first half with his 54-yard interception return for a touchdown.

A promising season for the Titans fell apart over the last nine weeks...Titans defensive end William Hayes was concussed by an errant throw by Titans quarterback Kerry Collins.

Detroit Lions 34, Miami Dolphins 27

Lions middle linebacker DeAndre Levy's pick-six was the game-winning play with just over two minutes remaining...By winning three straight, including back-to-back road games, Lions fans can officially have hope.

Two late interceptions by quarterback Chad Henne helped the Dolphins blow a 10-point lead...Dolphins owner Stephen Ross isn't happy with a team that finished with an NFL-worst 1-7 record at home.

St. Louis Rams 25, San Francisco 49ers 17

Rams first-round quarterback Sam Bradford and the offensive line came up big on Sunday...The Rams need to attack the Seahawks next Sunday night, writes Bernie Miklasz of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Hours after being eliminated from playoff contention, the 49ers fired head coach Mike Singletary...The 49ers will be looking for a new quarterback, too.

Cincinnati Bengals 34, San Diego Chargers 20

A 17-point lead at halftime evaporated in the final 30 minutes...Texans head coach Gary Kubiak should be let go, writes Richard Justice of the Houston Chronicle.

Indianapolis Colts 31, Oakland Raiders 26

As they moved one step closer to the playoffs, the Colts are showing they can run the ball on offense, and stop the run on defense...The Colts red-hot headed into a must-win regular season finale.

Oakland's playoff hopes ended before kickoff when the Chiefs beat the Titans...Raiders kicker Sebastien Janikowski set a franchise scoring record.

Green Bay Packers 45, New York Giants 17

Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers returned from a concussion and turned in an awe-inspiring performance on Sunday...By stopping the run and forcing turnovers, the Packers' defense stuck to Dom Capers' blueprint.

After a week of preparations where ball security was emphasized, the Giants turned the ball over six times on Sunday...Giants head coach Tom Coughlin and quarterback Eli Manning are presiding over another late-season collapse, writes Gary Myers of the New York Daily News.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 38, Seattle Seahawks 15
