Atlanta Falcons 27, Tampa Bay Buccaneers 21

A goal-line stand late in the fourth quarter cemented the Falcons' sixth win of the season...Falcons wide receiver Roddy White went down with a mild knee injury.

Against one of the top teams in the conference, the Buccaneers came up a few inches short...Buccaneers second-round wide receiver Arrelious Benn is becoming a weapon in the team's aerial attack.

Baltimore Ravens 26, Miami Dolphins 10

The Ravens regained their finish touch and put away the Dolphins in the fourth quarter...The Dolphins had no answer for running back Ray Rice.

Dolphins cornerback Sean Smith laments his dropped interception in the third quarter...The Dolphins were not happy with Ravens fullback Le'Ron McClain, who allegedly spit in Channing Crowder's face.

Chicago Bears 22, Buffalo Bills 19

A more balanced offense and improved pass protection helped the Bears improve to 5-3...The Bears were fortunate to escape Canada with a "W", writes David Haugh of the Chicago Tribune.

With a struggling running game, the Bills aired it out on Sunday...A fourth quarter interception helped turn a five-point lead into a three-point deficit and an eighth loss of the season.

New Orleans Saints 34, Carolina Panthers 3

New Orleans' blowout win was a message to the rest of the NFL...Saints cornerback Tracy Porter and Jabari Greer's return to action has solidified the pass defense.

Injuries to key players have spiraled the Panthers to a new rock bottom...Panthers second-round quarterback Jimmy Clausen's job interview starts now, writes Tom Sorensen of The Charlotte Observer.

Cleveland Browns 34, New England Patriots 14

The Browns proved they can coach and play with anybody...Browns third-round quarterback Colt McCoy has earned more starts, writes Bill Livingston of the Cleveland Plain-Dealer.

Poor execution ended the Patriots' five-game winning streak...Patriots quarterback Tom Brady says the players, including himself, needs to improve.

New York Jets 23, Detroit Lions 20 (OT)

A defensive meltdown cost the Lions an affirming win...Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford re-injured his right shoulder in the fourth quarter.

San Diego Chargers 29, Houston Texans 23

With a second straight win, the Chargers are optimistic as they head into the bye week...Quarterback Phillip Rivers always gives the Chargers a chance, writes Nick Canepa of the San Diego Union-Tribune.

The Texans blew a 9-point third quarter lead to fall to 4-4 on the season...Texans first-round cornerback Kareem Jackson was burned for three big passing plays.

Minnesota Vikings 27, Arizona Cardinals 24 (OT)

Vikings quarterback Brett Favre led a stunning come-from-behind win during the final few minutes...Vikings wide receivers Bernard Berrian and Greg Camarillo stepped up in increased roles on Sunday.

The Cardinals were less than 5 minutes from a win, but couldn't finish off the Vikings...Bob McManaman of The Arizona Republic has started the McNabb/Whisenhunt '11 campaign.

New York Giants 41, Seattle Seahawks 7

Giants head coach Tom Coughlin wanted to start fast, and his team delivered...A reshuffled offensive line wasn't a problem for the Giants.

The 12th Man fell silent as the Seahawks were embarrassed at Qwest Field on Sunday...Seahawks linebacker Lofa Tatupu says there are no quitters inside the locker room.

Oakland Raiders 23, Kansas City Chiefs 20 (OT)

By winning a third straight game for the first time since 2002, the Raiders are now just a half-game out of the AFC West lead...Raiders fourth-round wide receiver Jacoby Ford made two huge plays on Sunday.

The Chiefs lacked the discipline that had been there during their 5-2 start...A nine-minute stretch in the middle of the game played a key role in the loss.

Philadelphia Eagles 26, Indianapolis Colts 24

The returns of three play-makers on both sides of the ball keyed the Eagles win on Sunday...Eagles cornerback Dimitri Patterson wasn't fazed by facing Peyton Manning in his first NFL start.

A banged-up Colts team's comeback bid came up short on Sunday...Colts wide receiver Austin Collie suffered a concussion after a scary hit in the second quarter.

Green Bay Packers 45, Dallas Cowboys 7

Green Bay's offense was clicking on all cylinders last night...Packers linebacker Clay Matthews drew chants of "MVP!" from the crowd and locker room after Sunday night's game.

Dallas' offense continues to ignore their running game...Sunday night's loss could lead to a major overhaul for the Cowboys.
