A physical defense and an ever-improving Josh Freeman led the Bucs to a 2-0 start on the season...Buccaneers fourth-round wide receiver Mike Williams is playing like a #1 receiver.

The Panthers dropped to 0-2 and are unsure of who their quarterback is...Carolina's defense struggled on third downs in the first half.

Philadelphia Eagles 35, Detroit Lions 32

The Eagles defense nearly coughed up a win...Philadelphia's offensive line will need to play better when Kevin Kolb returns next week.

A late-game rally fell short, dropping the improved Lions to 0-2...Lions first-round running back Jahvid Best posted 232 yards of total offense in his Ford Field debut.

Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson continues to amaze with his talent and heart...Texans quarterback Matt Schaub was beat up throughout the day and nearly threw for 500 yards.

The Redskins blew a 17-point second-half lead and lost in overtime...Redskins running backs struggled, gaining just 18 yards on 17 carries.

New York Jets 28, New England Patriots 14

Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez's career-high three touchdowns spurred the Jets to a win...Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis isn't sure if he'll play next week.

San Diego Chargers 38, Jacksonville Jaguars 13
