PFT: Clady Tore Patellar Tendon Playing Basketball

Denver Broncos Pro Bowl left tackle Ryan Clady suffered a serious knee injury, Mike Klis of Denver Post reported, and ProFootballTalk.com's Mike Florio reports that it's a torn patellar tendon, which occurred while Clady was playing basketball.

Florio adds that if his source is correct, Clady could miss the entire 2010 season.

UPDATE: It has been confirmed that Clady tore the patellar tendon in his left knee while playing basketball, with ESPN's Adam Schefter adding that Clady has told people that he'll miss three months. Based on that timeline for recovery, Clady should be ready for the start of training camp, but he appears headed for the "Physically Unable to Perform" list, at least for the start of training camp.

Josina Anderson of FOX31 in Denver reported Clady as saying "it's not that bad" about the injury, and that Clady identified the left knee as being the one he injured.
