Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that the St. Louis Rams have agreed to terms with free agent tight end.
Terms were not disclosed.
A 2007 seventh-round pick out of Boise State by the Buffalo Bills, Schouman has started 15 of 21 games over the last three seasons, catching 27 passes for 275 yards and a touchdown.
Ankle and knee injuries ended his 2007 and 2009 seasons.
Schouman was not eligible for unrestricted free agency in the off-season, and was tendered at the "Second Round" level. Schouman sprained his knee during training camp and was released with an injury settlement on September 8.
2010 sixth-round tight end Fendi Onobun is expected to be placed on injured reserve, Thomas adds.
