Rams K Josh Brown Returns to Practice

St. Louis Rams kicker Josh Brown kicked for the first time in nearly two weeks during today's practice, reports Kathleen Nelson for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Brown tweaked his hip during the Rams' intrasquad scrimmage on August 7. Journeyman kicker Shaun Suisham handled the kicking duties in the Rams' pre-season opener against the Minnesota Vikings last Saturday.

Since signing a five-year, $14 million contract with the Rams in 2008, Brown is 50-of-60 (83.3%) on field goal attempts, converted all 35 of his extra point attempts, and has 16 touchbacks. Brown began his NFL career as a seventh-round pick out of Nebraska by the Seattle Seahawks, who had designated him as their franchise player in 2007.
