Texans QB Matt Schaub Hospitalized With Bursa Sac Issue

Houston Texans quarterback Matt Schaub spent last night at Methodist Hospital undergoing treatment for a bursa sac injury in one of his knees, head coach Gary Kubiak announced.

"We put him in the hospital to treat it basically and get some rest to get off of it," Kubiak said. "Thought he would be here this morning, made a decision this morning to let him stay there all day. Like I said, (Schaub) should be getting out here at some point and be able to get back out here tomorrow."

Schaub has handled all the snaps for the Texans this season, completing 192-of-299 pass attempts for 2,320 yards with 12 touchdowns and 7 interceptions.

In the unlikely scenario where Schaub would be unable to play this Sunday, Dan Orlovsky would get the start.
