The Houston Texans announced that they have signed linebacker Chris McCoy to the practice squad.

A seventh-round pick (212th overall) out of Middle Tennessee State by the Miami Dolphins in 2010, McCoy had one tackle during the pre-season and was placed on waivers at the end of training camp.

McCoy (6-3, 251) has spent parts of this season on the Dolphins and Seattle Seahawks practice squads.
