Texans TE Owen Daniels Won't Play vs. Jacksonville

Houston Texans head coach Gary Kubiak has ruled tight end Owen Daniels out for Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

After being slowed by a knee injury earlier this season, Daniels has been dealing hamstring that kept him out of last week's 29-23 loss to the San Diego Chargers.

A Pro Bowler in 2008, Daniels missed the Texans' OTAs, mini-camp, and most of training camp as he recovered from a torn right ACL that ended his 2009 season last November.

Daniels has just 16 receptions for 200 yards in 7 games this season.

With Daniels out, Joel Dreesen and James Casey will share the load at tight end.
