Titans S Myron Rolle Isn't Done With Football

Tennessee Titans safety Myron Rolle's draft stock took a hit when he accepted a Rhodes Scholarship to study for a year at the University of Oxford, but the eixth-round pick out of Florida State isn't done with the sport, Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean reports.

"Football is not out of my system. I am glad I made the decision to turn back to football after taking a year. This experience has been tremendous," Rolle said. "I have enjoyed learning from the veterans and competing, and challenging myself every day, knowing that I have to go out on the field every day and prove my worth and prove that I can be a significant member of this team."

So would that mean that if he were cut after the fourth pre-season game, he'd come back for $5,200 per week on the practice squad?

"Absolutely, certainly I’d do it," Rolle said. "I’d have no problem, no qualms with it. I am enjoying Nashville and enjoying this organization. Wherever they see me fit, that’s what we’ll do."

Rolle (6-2, 215) has 7 total tackles this pre-season, including a team-high two solo tackles on special teams.
