Ever since Brett Hundley heard his name announced with the rest of the Packers starters on Oct. 22, the staccato applause was accompanied by a healthy dose of criticism.
Is it fair to be encouraged that the Green Bay Packers defense put together a cohesive and effective performance against the Chicago Bears in Week 10, limiting them to 16 points and keeping them out of the red zone for the entire game?
Absolutely. But let's keep things in perspective.
Green Bay's special teams have not had many highlights — in fact, the bar is pretty low for reasonable expectations. The last time that unit was ranked less than 20th was in 2017, when it came in at 16.
