Thanks Andy for the pivot to calling out the vets on D with an honest classy discussion. Keep that going. The head coach is ultimately accountable and should not/can not accept poor leadership. At the end of the day our coach has to pivot from loyalty to friends/staff and make continuous adjustments to win.

He did it when he released Mo as special teams cord. The d-line guy should be gone yesterday. Now it’s bubbled up to Barry.

Realistically, we’re looking at 8-9 or 9-8 this year. If ‘24 is the same there’s going to be severe pressure onto flip the staff

Barry wants fast, light, destructive types. He’s got them. They left the one young exception on the PS. This week it might make sense versus the Saints, but it was not going to work against Atalanta type O. Ford would likely have been harder to bowl over than Wooden. It actually doesn’t take much to make it only semi automatic. That changes the equation.

Coaches can only learn from the past and minimize weaknesses and capitalize on strengths. Barry does none of that. He hasn’t learned from the eagles, he doesn’t adapt game to game. That’s a large part of the benefit a DC brings. Yes, we continue to be bad against the run, but the players we want don’t solve the problem.

Change your coach, change your philosophy and be prepared to leave no option available that might help on the PS. Listening to you saying Wooden etc didn’t do their job, no they didn’t do a job that anyone in their right mind expected them to be good at. At some point wrong pegs in the wrong holes. That’s when he wasn’t trying to stuff with 2DL and 2 OLB.

If you’d rather run behind Myers even than Runyon then perhaps you should start at RB, because you’re the only one who might have belief. Quite a stunning take. It does explain your repeated desire not to move Tom to C and completely trash it in my eyes.

Last season I was ready to crucify Joe Barry. After the last game, coming here to see people calling for his head, I thought that was premature. One commenter broke down the scheme and it's flaws and I'm on board with calling for JB's head.

I look forward to hearing what you two say ...
