Insanity, as MLF says, is doing the same thing over and over and expecting something different. It's also the very definition of the Joe Barry coordinator experience. Baker Montana

This is a broken record. How many times do we need to listen to the replay?

Hey, keep Joe Barry until the end of the season and, hopefully, the Packers lose their remaining games and the team ends up with a higher first-round pick.

The demoralization must be intense. Not just due to JB, Gutey told them all they're worthless no matter how well they play via the way he handled Rasul Douglas. I was worried he'd lose the locker room in week 4 and perhaps experience mutiny by players arriving with 2x4s.

If a player's head isn't in it now, I can understand that and don't see that as reason to cut them. It's supposed to be a TEAM. What coaches are actually helping? Not a rhetorical question.

Are the Packers the same team playoff caliber team today as they were on Thanksgiving? I am surprised fans were not wearing paper bags over their heads! It is wishful thinking that this can all be blamed on the coaching staff; although certainly Barry needs to go. Many here have been saying that for quite some time. Looking at the bright side of things, we will have the possibility of drafting some good players in the 24 draft! It is never too early to explore possibilities. Maybe even a free agent or two? We could use a playmaker like Roquan Smith at Linebacker(wishful thinking) He alone could make a defense much better. Secondly, our secondary just stinks! To add insult to injury Jaire has never been the same since he was injured last year in Pittsburgh. The jury is still out on Stokes . When those two were healthy we had a pretty good tandem at CB. However, money is not well spent on the chronically injured. I have been a dedicated Packer fan since the days of Lombardi. Games like these happen and are really depressing. For every winning game there is also a losing team. GB has a strong winning tradition. We have been blessed. There are still a lot of reasons for optimism. Remember we all felt a 500 season would be great. Progress is never a straight line up. What were we last year with Rodgers?

FA next season is out of the question with the cap situation. Can't even afford to keep all the players Gutey might want to.

Yes there are roster holes, we knew there would be. Serious evaluation still needs to happen at O line: Mt Caleb Telfort and Tenuta. The puzzle of Nijman vs Walker & Rhyan vs JRJ is not solved. Myers at C will apparently never be evaluated, just favoritism. Will Jenkins ever be back 100%? Playing him JRJ and Zach Tom injured makes no sense with all the talent on the bench.

First 3 draft picks on interior O line would not be excessive IMHO. Don't waste another draft pick by giving it to JB.

RB may never see #33 and 28 back at 100% again; that would be sad. Don't really know what we have in #31 Wilson. I'd like to see Goodson and Lewis back. If #85 and 88 continue to improve that could reduce the need for a star RB, although drafting one is always an exciting proposition. It's a crap shoot, too. Drake was given one carry, that's ridiculously stupid. It didn't go well but every RB has plays that go for 0 yards.

We knew we'd need to add some DBs, we just didn't know who we have that's good and to an extent we still don't. Owens tackles hard but is not assignment sure. I'm less enthused about AJJ but he's made some plays and has his fans. Gutey lost Blu. Some here are down on even our best DBs Ja Savage and Stokes. I think that's premature but obviously Gutey can't just sit tight at the position.

I don't see glaring needs at other positions and would like to see Gutey trade up to get best in class instead of a huge haul. A draft class rich in QBs with so many teams needing a QB works to Gutey's advantage ...

As a Packer fan since I was a kid, I had never wished they'd lose an upcoming game. But I have changed my mind in this regard.

I'd like to see us lose big next week to Carolina. Especially many points scored against. Just like a drug addict, this team has to hit rock bottom and finally be humiliated enough to get rid of Dingle Barry at all costs. I do not have any illusions that this is a playoff team with Barry and certainly not with the delusional LaFleur!

I genuinely feel sorry for the GB players who are sacrificing their short careers on such pitiful coaching performances.

Sorry for the above wish fellow fans. But we need to hit rock bottom before we can get better. And Carolina certainly fits the bill...
