Yes! Baffling at a Hanson-esque level.

Well they put a 2nd round tender on him. I think if they were gonna sign him long term...it woulda got done. I'm guessing beef with Management.

The 2nd round tender really makes it baffling. Why would you do that to a player that's just going to ride the bench and not contribute?

If Nijman has done anything so egregious to not play, especially with the current OL issues, then either officially suspend him, trade him or cut him loose.

This doesn't do anything to assuage the feeling that this coaching staff is not the most competent group.

The answer to this is simple:

we don't have a coach that's worth a damn.

Mt Caleb has never played a down in the NFL. I won't say either he or Nijman is better than Walker, but they should be playing and Zach Tom should be our Center.

MLF and JB both do the same thing they've always done, whether it works or not.

Evidently Caleb and Nijman are still learning how to drink water. What a waste of potential! This is yet another reason why the direction of progress is going backwards. At some point you have to scrutinize management.

GB sometimes seems to put players into a doghouse from which there is seldom an exit. Will Nijman play if no injury forces it? I doubt it. I will not be shocked if Mt. Caleb gets the call in case of injury. If so, GB should have traded Nijman for a ham sandwich if that's all they can get. [No distrespect to dobber, who I suspect disagrees. It IS more comfortable knowing Nijman is on the roster.]
