Aaron, i think Love is young/unexperienced and can't really read defenses too well. MLF needs to back off & help him out more...Love is a booting type at this point and unless he lets the ball go on time, it's only a 50/50 chance. He clearly struggles throwing the long ball (needs to learn to do more arc like AR). IF Clemons can't help Love, no one can, esp after him carrying the clip board for 3 years.
Bring back Josh and sit Walker. Meyers continues to be an avg at best center. Give Ryhan a chance where he's best suited. Like you said, "something must change".
loved how MLF used 2-3 trick plays against the bears. Did he and/or his staff give up on being creative? first down inside the 5 still keeps me up @ night. Horrible @ goal to goal!
BTW, when you asked, what if J. Love doesn't get better throughout the season. Ans: you let a competitor like Clifton have a chance. Don't fire MLF, but he needs to do way better scheming.
